We’re incredibly excited to announce that DC Worlds Collide will soon be launching globally and we can’t wait for you to join us!
What is DC Worlds Collide?
At its core, DC Worlds Collide is a strategy title that allows you to collect an ever-expanding roster of DC’s greatest heroes and villains in an effort to stop the Crime Syndicate’s assault on the Multiverse. With an impressive assortment of characters to recruit, the teams you build and how you overcome your opponents is entirely up to you.
Mother Box and Recruitment
Heroes and Villains can be recruited to your team through the usage of the Mother Box. This mysterious artifact randomly pulls characters from the Multiverse into your world allowing you to add them to your teams. Once discovered, your new character can be geared up and prepared for battle. Limited characters have an increased pull rate which expires after a set period of time, giving you a better chance of picking up the game’s latest characters upon release.
Seasonal Breakdown
With a starting roster of over 70 heroes and villains, there are a ton of strategic options for you to employ. Do you try to build a team with high defense that can block and heal its way through encounters? Or, do you opt for a hard-hitting team of attackers that quickly blasts its way through the opposition. While many familiar and iconic DC heroes such as Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman are available to recruit, you should also keep an eye out for niche characters from DC’s epic history to join the game regularly. Seasons within DC Worlds Collide will continuously introduce new characters, synergies and events to the game, so there will always be something exciting to collect or a new character to add to your collection.
Modes and More
While assembling your teams and preparing them for combat is the heart of DC Worlds Collide, there are over a dozen different game modes to choose from as you progress. From unraveling clues left by the Riddler to honing your archery skills at the Green Arrow’s practice range, each of the game’s various modes grants different rewards that you can use to progress and improve the characters that you’ve recruited on your adventures.
PVP
For those of you looking to climb the competitive ladder with your favorite teams, we’re happy to share that DC Worlds Collide allows you to pit your favorite squads against other players from around the world for a variety of rewards. PVP seasons reset frequently and the players on the top of the ladder reap the biggest rewards. Once you’ve built a team that you’re happy with, you can set them to defend, allowing them to battle asynchronously while you’re away from your device, or, go on the offensive in an effort to climb the ladder.
